The M.A. in Latin American Studies is a flexible interdisciplinary degree that allows students to design a program of study that fits their academic, career or professional goals. Our graduates develop strong language skills, acquire deep and broad knowledge of Latin American countries and cultures, and develop research and analytical skills that prepare them for Ph.D. programs or to excel in a variety of careers, whether in business, government, education, or the nonprofit sector. We strive to fully fund all of our MA students, many of whom receive funding through the Foreign Language and Area Studies award.
